SUMMARY:Code Breaker: Solar\, Battery & Zero Net Carbon Design 2025 Energy Code
DESCRIPTION:Registration for this FREE webinar\, brought to you by Energy Code Ace will close at 12:00 pm PT on Thursday\, April 9\, 2026. Please note –  this program does not offer ZNCD mandatory continuing education hours.  \nJoin us for this one-hour presentation to review the 2025 Energy Code (Title 24\, Part 6\, the California Building Energy Efficiency Standards) requirements that support the goals of a Zero Net Carbon Design (ZNCD) project. We will review updated requirements for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS)\, domestic hot water system requirements supporting electrification\, pool and spa requirements supporting heat pump technology\, limits on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) design options\, and additional heat pump design requirements. We’ll also explore the new Performance Approach compliance metric “Long-term System Cost” (LSC)\, which converts the predicted site energy use to long-term dollar costs to California’s energy system. \nSpeaker:\nBrian SelbyPrincipalSelby Energy\, Inc.\nPresented by:\nECA

SUMMARY:ARE/CSE Study Hub – PjM/PcM – Project Execution
DESCRIPTION:Study Hub is AIA California’s pathway for emerging professionals to study and pursue licensure. These statewide ARE study sessions and virtual study groups serve as a hub for education\, connection\, and community. This portal does not replace other study materials or resources\, rather it supplements them\, serving as a network and allowing for collaboration between EPs and AIA professionals across California. \nThis year\, we’re streamlining your study experience by grouping commonly paired exams together. \nPractice Management(PcM) focuses on the management of architectural practice\, including professional ethics\, fiduciary responsibilities\, and the regulations governing the practice of architecture. \nProject Management(PjM) focuses on the management of architectural projects\, including organizing principles\, contract management\, and consultant management. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of and abilities in quality control\, project team configuration\, and project scheduling. \nSession Topic: Project Execution
