DESCRIPTION:This webinar will explore how reusing and upgrading existing buildings can benefit the climate and community. Siegel and Strain Architects will present three recent and current reuse projects and discuss process\, opportunities\, and benefits as well as challenges and lessons learned. The carbon impacts will be evaluated using the recently launched CARE Tool. Why this is important? Presenting case studies on adaptive reuse projects and how carbon impacts are evaluated are incredibly important to show architects and design professionals that reusing existing buildings is possible\, and can be used as a decarbonization method.
