SUMMARY:Biophilia in the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Simon Turner | Founder\, Building Cognition LLC Orlane Panet | Co-founder\, Micro Habitat Vicki Worden | President & CEO\, Green Building Initiative Science shows that people benefit from daylight\, views\, and natural ventilation. Today’s technologies allow architects to incorporate biophilic design into building design as part of their net zero carbon design goals and project requirements. As part of this presentation\, a set of case studies will be used to illustrate how architects can design indoor-outdoor elements into their projects\, in both new construction and adaptive reuse of existing buildings.
