DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce the return of AIA California’s Award Ceremony\, an in-person event after a several-year hiatus! This year’s ceremony promises to be an extraordinary celebration\, featuring a special inclusion of students from the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo College of Architecture. We invite you to join us for an evening of inspiration\, recognition\, and networking. \nEvent Details:\nDate: November 17\, 2023\nTime: 4:00P – 9:00P\nLocation: Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Campus\, Berg Gallery\, 1 Grand Ave\, San Luis Obispo\, CA 93407 \nAgenda:\nArchitecture Fair: From 4:00P – 6:00P\, explore the projects\, firms\, and outstanding individuals who have received our prestigious awards this year. This fair provides a unique opportunity for students and professionals alike to gain insights into the latest trends and exceptional achievements in the world of architecture. \no  Tables will be provided to those firms and individuals who wish to take part in the fair. We encourage all recipients to take part\, bring handouts on their projects and chat with students. \no  A poster board gallery of the recipients will be on display for students and professionals. Poster boards are being made in-house using images submitted. If we require any other images\, recipients will be contacted directly. \nAward Ceremony: From 6:30P – 7:30P\, join us as we honor the best and brightest in the field of architecture. Recognize and celebrate the recipients of this year’s awards. \nReception: From 7:30P – 9:00P\, network with industry professionals\, share your ideas\, and forge new connections while enjoying a delightful reception. \nTicket Information:\nCal Poly Architecture Students: Attendance is free! Your participation is highly encouraged\, and your fees are generously covered by the event. \nGeneral Attendees: Tickets are available for purchase. Your contribution directly supports the inclusion of Cal Poly architecture students. \nRSVP:\nTo ensure we have sufficient space and materials for all attendees\, we kindly request that everyone RSVP. Please secure your spot by confirming your attendance. \nPurchase Tickets Here \nA link to purchase parking spots will be sent out to all who register so you may reserve a spot prior to arriving. If you require closer parking to the site or other accommodations\, please contact Ashley Taylor at ataylor@aiacalifornia.org. \nAccommodations:\nFor your convenience\, a small hotel room block is available for booking until November 3\, 2023. If you plan to attend\, we recommend reserving your room in advance to secure your stay during this event.
